Sayonara | Kuala Lumpur, Selangor Malaysia Family Children Photographer

I feel so blessed that this job has given me so many opportunities to meet with people from other countries all around the world, Alhamdulillah. This beautiful family is from Japan. The third Japanese family I have the chance to photograph so far. It was a very casual and relax session taken at their home sweet home in Mont Kiara Kuala Lumpur. A home which has hold so many memories during their two years stay in Malaysia. What a perfect way to preserve those memories to be remembered for many years in the future.

I learned a lot when meeting people from other side of the world, especially about their culture and the way they interact between each family members. Each family I met is unique. Japanese for example are friendly but in a very polite manners. They are soft-spoken. They always ask me if they want to do any particular things; waiting for my approval first. They respect my work, my time and very open about any ideas I suggested to them. The parents are also very loving towards their children. I never hear them scolding their children but they handle their children in a very graceful manner. I can clearly see even though their children are still small, but they do respect them as a person. Yes, there was language barrier between us to communicate sometimes. But it was not a big problem, as I took this as an opportunity to learn new things; to communicate with the children in my very own way. I love the challenge anyway!

I feel so humble to be given the trust to document their final moments here before they leave Malaysia for good to their hometown in Nagoya Japan. I hope with this kind of memories captured, one day, it will remind them how beautiful the life they had when they were in Malaysia. And this surely will become a treasure to the kids in many years to come.. I wish them all the best for their future.
